About me

I am a junior communications major at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, specializing in Speech and Debate and student journalism. As a student journalist, I work on the editorial board of our student-produced news magazine as the non-coverage managing editor. Last year as a social media editor, I worked to accomplish my goals of reviving our Facebook, creating a LinkedIn account, and uploading diverse content weekly. In my new position, I look forward to working with my fellow managing editors and EICs to create the best publication possible for our student body.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends taking trips to the beach, or to the movies to see the newest action movie. I also enjoy traveling and completing puzzles. As for volunteer work and job, I enjoy spending time with children, whether it is spending my summers as camp a camp counselor or my weekends as a lifeguard and swim instructor to young children.

In the future, I hope to follow in the footsteps of my aunt and older cousin in becoming a doctor or nurse. While I am not sure what field I will specialize in, I hope to have the opportunity to work with children and help as many people as possible.
